Regionalliga Nordost season opens with Lok Leipzig's Dorian Cevis scoring and BFC Dynamo's home debut

Midfielder Dorian Cevis delivered a 30‑metre strike into the top right corner, securing a 3‑1 victory for 1. FC Lok Leipzig over FSV Luckenwalde in the opening match of the Regionalliga Nordost season. The goal earned Cevis the league’s first “Volltreffer of the week” award.

BFC Dynamo, after a 1‑4 loss in their opening away game, is preparing for their first home match at the Sportforum Hohenschönhausen against Chemie Leipzig. Coach Sven Körner emphasised the need to translate preparation into results and aim for the three points that would mark a positive start to the campaign. Defender Tobias Gunte highlighted the team’s analysis of the Erfurt defeat and the focus on basic play to improve performance.
