Regione Lombardia launches new health project and digital portal
Regione Lombardia has launched two distinct initiatives aimed at improving digital engagement and public health.
The ViviVero project, a collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit, focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles among adolescents. Using digital tools such as reels, podcasts, and social media, the initiative encourages peer-to-peer communication regarding nutrition, sleep, and physical activity. The project includes a scientific study involving 265 students in the province of Pavia to examine the relationship between the gut microbiota, diet, and lifestyle. The program aims to expand from Pavia to include at least one school in every Lombardy province.
Additionally, the Lombardy Region has overhauled its official web portal to provide a more personalized user experience. The updated site features a new ‘Personal Area’ that allows citizens to save content, organize services, and receive targeted updates. President Attilio Fontana stated that the redesign aims to simplify information retrieval and strengthen the digital relationship between the regional government and its citizens.
