Regla Torres returns to coach Guerreras de Puebla

Cuban coach Regla Torres has been confirmed to return as the head coach of the Guerreras de Puebla for the 2027 season of the Mexican Professional Women's Volleyball League (LVP). Following a successful debut season where the team reached the semifinals, club president Guillermo Ramírez and general manager Jessica Ibarra have re-engaged Torres to lead the team's pursuit of a championship.

Torres, a former Olympic gold medalist and designated Player of the 20th Century by the International Volleyball Federation, expressed enthusiasm regarding her return, citing a strong connection with the Puebla fanbase. The team is currently undergoing preseason preparations and roster adjustments. While players such as Paulette Muñoz, Andrea Félix, and Gabi Jakubowska have been confirmed, the coaching staff and full roster will be officially announced in the coming days. The team's current recruitment priorities include setters, middle blockers, and outside hitters.
