Reguengos de Monsaraz hosts tourism and health awareness programs

The municipality of Reguengos de Monsaraz is conducting several commemorative programs. To mark World Heart Day on September 29, the municipal building was illuminated in red in partnership with the Portuguese Cardiology Foundation to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease prevention.

Additionally, the municipality is celebrating World Tourism Day with a program extending until November 9. The celebrations began on September 27 with free admission to the Museu do Fresco and the Casa da Inquisição. The program includes a series of guided walks through various local routes, such as the ‘Rota do Comboio’ and ‘À Descoberta do Pinhal’, designed to showcase the region's landscapes and heritage.

A professional meeting for tourism agents was also held on September 30 in Monsaraz, focusing on the theme of cultural heritage and its opportunities within the tourism sector.
