Authorities suspended the sale of products worth over 1 million lei and permanently removed non-compliant goods valued at more than 250,000 lei from the market. Additionally, 15 companies had their services temporarily halted until deficiencies were addressed.
Key violations identified by inspectors included the sale of degraded food items such as moldy produce, meat with blood accumulation, and fish covered in excessive ice. Other issues involved improper storage temperatures, poor hygiene in food preparation areas, and the use of rusted or dirty equipment. Inspectors also noted a lack of mandatory information on textile labels and missing traceability elements on food products.
