Reid State Community College receives grant and ACT designation
Reid State Community College has received a $101,800 Innovate Alabama Network Designation Grant to enhance workforce development and career training in rural Southwest Alabama. The funding aims to strengthen the talent pipeline for innovation-driven industries by connecting education, K–12 systems, and economic development partners.
Additionally, the college's Evergreen campus has been designated as an official national ACT testing site. This designation provides local high school students and community members with convenient access to the college entrance exam, reducing the need for long-distance travel to testing centers.
