Reiner Fuellmich faces allegations of mistreatment in German prison

Dr. Reiner Fuellmich, a lawyer practicing in Germany and California, is currently serving a prison sentence following a conviction in April 2025. He had previously been incarcerated since October 2023 after being taken from Mexico by German authorities.

Reports indicate that during his time at Rosdorf Prison, Fuellmich was subjected to punitive measures including solitary confinement from June 2024 to December 2024. During this period, he was reportedly denied contact with other inmates, restricted in his use of the telephone, and forced to eat and exercise in isolation. He also faced strict security protocols during court appearances, including the use of handcuffs, ankle shackles, and frequent full-body searches.

Fuellmich is known for his work with the Corona Investigation Committee in Berlin, which was established in 2020 to examine government and medical responses to the pandemic. Supporters characterize his detention as political imprisonment related to his legal challenges against large corporations and his investigations into pandemic-era policies.
