Reiner Fuellmich's prison sentence confirmed by German Federal Court
The German Federal Court of Justice (BGH) has rejected the appeal of Reiner Fuellmich, making his prison sentence legally binding. Fuellmich, a former lawyer and co-founder of the Corona Committee, was previously sentenced by the Regional Court of Göttingen to three years and nine months in prison for breach of trust in two cases.
The BGH decision also upheld the court's refusal to credit five months of pretrial detention toward his total sentence, citing his conduct in delaying the proceedings. Additionally, the court maintained a decision regarding the confiscation of 700,000 euros in criminal proceeds, with only minor corrections made by the BGH.
