Reinier praises coach Eduardo Domínguez amid Atlético-MG success

Atlético-MG forward Reinier has credited coach Eduardo Domínguez for the team's recent success, specifically highlighting the manager's role in motivating the squad to overcome a 2-0 first-leg deficit against Santos to qualify for the Copa Sul-Americana semifinals.

Reinier described Domínguez as a leader who balances seriousness with a relaxed demeanor, noting that the coach's confidence helped restore the team's belief during critical moments. Since joining the club in February, Domínguez has led the team through 41 matches, recording 21 wins, nine draws, and 11 losses.

Reflecting on his career, Reinier also recalled his time at Borussia Dortmund, where he shared a locker room with stars such as Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland. The striker is currently enjoying a productive season with Atlético-MG, having recorded nine goals and three assists in 38 appearances.
