REINSW Awards honor Lifestyle Group and Peter Matthews

The Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW) held its 29th Awards for Excellence in Sydney, honoring various leaders and agencies within the property sector.

Lifestyle Group was named the Large Residential Agency of the Year. The regional firm operates over 28 offices across New South Wales, managing a portfolio of more than 10,000 properties. General Manager Leanne Brien and CEO David Gray noted the award validates the strength and operational excellence of regional real estate networks.

On an individual level, Peter Matthews, the current Century 21 Group CEO and former REINSW President, received the Woodrow Weight Award. This honor recognizes his three decades of leadership in sales, auctioneering, and technology. REINSW President Thomas McGlynn praised Matthews for his advocacy regarding professional standards and industry transparency.

The 2026 ceremony also introduced new categories, including a Wellbeing Award focused on mental health within agency cultures and a Medium Commercial Agency category.
