Reiss Nelson rejoins Feyenoord as a free agent after Arsenal exit

Reiss Nelson has completed a return to Feyenoord after his departure from Arsenal. The 26-year-old winger joined the Dutch club as a free agent following the mutual termination of his contract with the Premier League side.

Nelson, who spent 18 years at Arsenal's academy before making 90 senior appearances, had previously enjoyed a successful loan spell at Feyenoord during the 2021-22 season. During that period, he played a key role in the team's run to the UEFA Europa Conference League final.

The English attacker has signed a contract that runs through the end of the 2026-2027 season. He is expected to bolster the squad under manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst as the club competes in the Eredivisie and the Champions League.
