REISSER launches AI‑driven WC seat identification app for installers
German plumbing supplier REISSER introduced a new mobile application that helps professional installers find the correct toilet seat model on site. Marketingleiter Patrick Preiß demonstrated how the tool uses artificial‑intelligence image recognition to analyse a photo of the removed seat and instantly suggest matching REISSER models, taking only a few seconds.
The app’s database contains 15 seat variants that fit a wide range of WC ceramics and includes an automatic measurement feature that captures the dimensions of the underlying ceramic. By eliminating the need for manual searching, model‑number lookup and extra travel to the customer, the solution aims to cut time and costs for the specialist trade.
The product rollout is targeted at the German market, but press releases have also been distributed in the United Kingdom.
