Police in Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu, have arrested a 20-year-old man named Nando bin Iswadi for motorcycle theft. Following his arrest at a motorcycle workshop in Desa Belitar Muka on Thursday, August 13, 2026, the suspect confessed to being involved in a violent robbery (begal) that occurred approximately two hours prior to his apprehension.

The robbery took place in the Talang Bandar area of Desa Air Rusa, Sindang Dataran District. Ipda Fahrizal Hakim, Chief of the Sindang Dataran Police, confirmed that the suspect is linked to both motorcycle theft and violent robbery. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
