Rejang Lebong police investigate vehicle fire at gas station

Police in Rejang Lebong are investigating a vehicle fire that occurred at the Tabarenah gas station in Pahlawan Village on Sunday morning. A minibus with license plate B 1229 JUE caught fire, and the vehicle and its owner have since fled the scene.

Authorities are investigating reports that several jerry cans were removed from the vehicle while it was burning. This has led to suspicions that the vehicle was being used for illegal fuel siphoning. One individual, identified as Iqbal, reportedly sustained burns during the incident. Material losses are estimated at Rp80 million.
