REKA magic craft adventure game to release on PC

Emberstorm Entertainment, in partnership with Fireshine Games and Shochiku, will officially release the magic craft adventure game ‘REKA’ on October 26, 2024, for PC via Steam. The game features full Japanese language support.

Players take on the role of Reka, an apprentice to the legendary witch Baba Yaga. The gameplay centers on exploring a mystical autumn forest inspired by Slavic mythology while building and decorating a unique ‘walking magic house’ that moves on chicken legs.

Unlike traditional fantasy games focused on combat, ‘REKA’ emphasizes survival, crafting, and coexistence with nature. Players use magic to interact with the environment, such as tending to crops or communicating with animals, rather than for fighting. The narrative presents moral choices, allowing players to act as a helpful village witch or engage in darker, more vengeful activities based on the requests of local inhabitants.
