REKA witch adventure game set for October 26 Steam release

Shochiku Games has announced that the full version 1.0 of the witch exploration adventure game ‘REKA’ will be released on PC via Steam on October 26. Developed by Germany-based Emberstorm Entertainment, the game features a protagonist named Reka who travels through a mystical autumn forest alongside a customizable, walking magical house.

The game incorporates crafting elements, allowing players to collect materials, tame wildlife, and decorate their mobile home. It also features procedurally generated environments and player-driven narrative choices through various quests.

Following a previous delay intended to address bugs and performance issues, a free demo version is scheduled for release on Steam on September 29. Additionally, the game will be available for hands-on play at the Shochiku booth during Tokyo Game Show 2026, held at Makuhari Messe from September 17 to 21.
