Delhi CM Rekha Gupta joins Tiranga Yatra in New Delhi
In anticipation of India’s Independence Day, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and BJP National President Nitin Nabin participated in a Tiranga Yatra in New Delhi. The march proceeded from Rafi Marg to Kartavya Path, passing landmarks such as India Gate. The event included various BJP leaders, cabinet ministers, and a large number of youth participants carrying the national flag.
In addition to the public march, a Tiranga Yatra was held within the Delhi Legislative Assembly premises. This procession moved from the statue of Mahatma Gandhi to the statue of B. R. Ambedkar, involving Speaker Vijender Gupta and several MLAs.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta described the tricolour as a symbol of national pride, sacrifice, and unity. She encouraged citizens to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by hoisting the national flag at their homes to transform the independence celebrations into a mass movement.
