Relay Q AI microphone debuted by former Nothing employees at IFA

At IFA in Berlin, a team of former employees from the British tech company Nothing introduced the Relay Q, an AI-powered microphone designed to facilitate voice-controlled interaction with computers.

The device is approximately the size of a small lighter and features a tactile design. It allows for whisper-level audio capture when the tip is held down, enabling discrete dictation or voice commands in quiet environments. Users can also double-click the top to function as an Enter or Send key.

In addition to handheld use, the Relay Q features a modular design where the tip can be detached to serve as a wearable magnetic pin for a collar, keeping the microphone close to the user's face. The product is available in various color combinations, including silver and electric blue, as well as baby blue and orange.
