Reliance Industries shares slip ahead of Q2 financial results

Reliance Industries shares declined by 0.82% to ₹1,157.80 during Friday's intraday session as investors await the company's second-quarter financial results for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026. The stock's decline comes as the conglomerate's shares have faced pressure throughout 2026, down approximately 24% year-to-date.

The company's board is scheduled to meet on October 30, 2026, to consider and approve standalone and consolidated unaudited financial results. Additionally, the board will deliberate on a proposal to raise funds through the issuance of listed, secured or unsecured, redeemable instruments.

Other Indian companies are also in focus due to quarterly earnings reports. Coal India reported a 53% year-on-year profit increase, while Hero MotoCorp and RR Kabel also reported profit growth. InterGlobe Aviation reported a narrowed consolidated loss compared to the previous year.
