Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel offer diverse prepaid plans in India

Indian telecom providers Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel are offering various prepaid plans catering to different consumer needs. Jio has introduced a ₹200 plan with a 28-day validity that provides 30GB of high-speed data and access to 15 OTT platforms, including YouTube Premium, Prime Video Mobile Edition, and Sony LIV. This plan also includes JioTV access and discounts on Cinepolis movie tickets.

In response to regulatory guidance from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to provide options for maintaining SIM activity without data, Jio offers a ₹1748 plan. This plan provides 336 days of service validity with unlimited voice calling and 3600 SMS, but includes zero data. Airtel offers a comparable long-term plan for ₹1849.
