Reliance Jio launches JioTag2 smart tracker in India

Reliance Jio introduced the JioTag2 smart tracking device on August 2, 2026. The compact gadget can be paired with both iPhone and Android smartphones, linking to Apple’s Find My and Google’s Find Hub services. It operates without a SIM card or monthly recharge, using Bluetooth Low Energy and a community‑based location network when out of range.

The device is priced at 1,249 rupees (with promotional offers down to 1,199 rupees) and is available in black, green and red. It features a 120 dB built‑in speaker, IP64 dust‑and‑water protection, and a replaceable battery claimed to last up to one year. JioTag2 aims to help users locate everyday items such as keys, bags, wallets and electronic accessories.
