Religious and academic initiatives launched in Iğdır and Şanlıurfa

In Iğdır, the Vice President of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmet İshak Demir, visited Iğdır University to discuss academic cooperation and religious education. During his visit to the Faculty of Theology, discussions focused on new projects to facilitate access to religious education for youth. Prof. Demir also met with students undergoing Quranic memorization training, emphasizing the importance of understanding divine messages and moral principles alongside memorization.

In Şanlıurfa, the Halilürrahman Prophets and Scholars Complex has been opened at the Balıklıgöl site. Funded by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and coordinated by the GAP Regional Development Administration, the complex uses digital technology to narrate the lives of prophets, including Muhammad and Abraham, and historical scholars such as Hayati Harrani and El-Battani. The project aims to enhance the city's status as a center for faith and tourism by providing an integrated digital experience of spiritual and scientific history.
