Religious and charitable activities reported in Italy and Togo

In Viterbo, Italy, the Tuscia and Sabina delegation of the Sacro Militare Ordine Costantiniano di San Giorgio will participate in celebrations for the feast of Saint Augustine on August 28, 2026. Led by Roberto Saccarello, the delegation will attend Mass at the Church of the Holy Trinity, a site with long-standing ties to the Augustinian Order. The festivities include a three-day preparatory period focusing on themes such as charity and the Eucharist, concluding with a musical reading of Saint Augustine's works.

Separately, the Amici del Togo mission conducted visits in Togo, including a meeting in Atakpamé with Bishop Moïse Messan Touho, who was ordained in Cremona, Italy. The delegation also visited the Hôpital Saint Joseph in Datcha to observe local healthcare efforts and spent time at the Villaggio della Gioia orphanage. The mission follows significant donations of food, school supplies, and toys from the Cremona region.
