Italy hosts various religious festivals and patron saint celebrations

Various Italian communities are holding religious celebrations and traditional festivals. In Sant’Angelo di Gatteo, the Barrocci Festival concludes with the Palio dei Barrocci and a solemn mass for San Michele Arcangelo. In the Crotone region, Radio Maria is facilitating a tour of the relics of San Carlo Acutis, specifically a lock of hair, through local parishes.

Numerous towns are honoring the Saints Cosma and Damiano. Celebrations include processions and musical performances in Montescaglioso, San Ferdinando, Terlizzi, and the Basilica dei Santi Medici. In Montemesola, the arrival of major relics of the Saints accompanies the festivities for San Michele Arcangelo.

Other regional events include the feast of San Michele Arcangelo in Monteroduni, featuring musical concerts and processions, and in Meolo, where the Basso Piave Paratroopers Section held a commemorative ceremony. In Lucera, the community is preparing for San Michele celebrations, while Caltanissetta hosted a successful concert dedicated to the patron saint.
