Religious celebrations and restorations held in Tuchów and Borzęcin Górny

Various religious celebrations and restoration milestones are taking place in Poland in early September.

In Tuchów, the Sanctuary of Our Lady will host the Mały Odpust on September 8. The event focuses on the blessing of sowing seeds, a tradition intended to support farmers preparing for upcoming plantings. Redemptorist priests will provide blessed grain for parishioners to take home, accompanied by several scheduled masses throughout the day.

In Borzęcin Górny, Bishop Andrzej Jeż presided over feast day celebrations on September 6. The ceremony marked the completion of a 2.5-year conservation project for the historic altar of Our Lady of Borzęcin. The restoration, which cost approximately 1.3 million PLN, was funded through a combination of the Polish Government's Monument Reconstruction Program, regional marshal's office grants, and local parishioner contributions.
