Religious celebrations scheduled in Cerenzia and Bitonto

The community of Cerenzia is preparing for the patron saint festivities of San Teodoro Martire, scheduled from October 31 to November 9, 2026. The religious program, organized by the parish and Pastor Don Donatus, includes a novena, various Masses, and specific dedications for the sick, children, and local associations. The celebrations will conclude with a solemn Mass and a procession through the town streets.

In Bitonto, the festivities honoring the Santi Medici (Cosmas and Damian) reach their conclusion with the 'Ottava' on October 25, 2026. Following a large procession earlier in the month, the day includes multiple Eucharistic celebrations at the Parish-Sanctuary. Cultural events accompany the religious observances, including street art performances and a concert-meditation titled ‘Echi di pace’ at the Basilica dei Santi Medici.
