Religious ceremonies and community landmarks marked in Romania

Several religious and community milestones are being marked in Romania. In Buimăceni, a church with over 130 years of history is set for reconsecration following extensive consolidation, rehabilitation, and beautification works. Built in 1888 after a previous structure was destroyed by fire, the current church was erected with the support of the Nicolae Ionescu family. The ceremony will be led by Father Nichifor Botoșăneanul and a group of priests and deacons.

In the commune of Lerești, community events are scheduled for September 13, 2026. The local administration has organized the blessing of a new entrance gate for the commune at 16:00, followed by the blessing of a cross on Ciuhă Hill at 17:00. These events are intended to serve as local landmarks and celebrate the community's spiritual and natural heritage.
