Religious ceremonies held in Giovinazzo and Andria

Various religious observances and ceremonies were held in Italy to mark liturgical dates. In Giovinazzo, the Confraternita della Purificazione celebrated the liturgical memory of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Sorrows. The event included a Eucharistic celebration officiated by Father Francesco Depalo at the Church of Sant'Andrea, followed by the exposition of a religious simulacrum for the adoration of the faithful.

In Andria, the Pia Associazione Crociferi held a solemn Eucharistic celebration at the Church of San Nicola di Myra. During the ceremony, which coincided with the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, three new members—Maddalena Accolito, Angela De Feo, and Gian Matteo D'Avanzo—underwent the vestition ceremony. The service was presided over by Don Claudio Stillavato and attended by representatives from several local and regional confraternities.
