Religious ceremonies held in Korčula and Mostar

In Korčula, Croatia, the Dominican Sisters of the Congregation of Holy Guardian Angels celebrated their feast day of the Holy Guardian Angels with a solemn Eucharist at St. Anthony's Church. During the ceremony, four sisters made or renewed their religious vows: Sister Anđela Buzov and Sister Veronika Pavlović made their first vows, Sister Marta Marija Šutalo renewed her vows for the third time, and Sister Marta Turi made her lifelong vows. The service was presided over by Father Tomislav Kraljević, the provincial of the Croatian Dominican Province.

In Mostar, Bishop Petar Palić presided over a Mass at the Cathedral of Mary Mother of the Church to mark the beginning of the new academic year. In his sermon, Bishop Palić addressed students, emphasizing that while academic discipline and hard work are necessary to earn degrees, values such as love, faith, and grace are gifts to be received. He encouraged students to use their education to seek truth and to grow into mature individuals who serve the common good, rather than focusing solely on academic success.
