Religious leaders in Iran observe Fatimiyya commemorations

Religious leaders across various Iranian provinces have held gatherings to commemorate the martyrdom of Fatimah Zahra, emphasizing her role as a model of resistance and defense of Islamic leadership.

In Kermanshah, Ayatollah Habibullah Ghafouri addressed the Coordination Council for the Expansion of Quranic Activities, stressing the need to translate Quranic programs into practical, field-based actions rather than leaving them as theoretical documents. He highlighted the province's potential in Quranic education and called for the establishment of local Quranic bases and schools.

In Tabriz, Ahmad Motahari-Asl, the representative of the Supreme Leader, spoke to large crowds at Sa'at Square, describing the life of Fatimah Zahra as a permanent model for defending religious pillars. Similarly, in Mehriz, Imam Jomeh Abdolreza Mohi-ed-Dini emphasized the importance of national unity and vigilance against foreign threats during his Friday prayers.

Additionally, a new book titled ‘Fatimiyya Epic’ has been published by Nashr-e Beynolmelal. The work examines the social and political roles of Fatimah Zahra following the passing of the Prophet Muhammad, analyzing historical and legal dimensions of events such as the Fadak incident using both Shia and Sunni sources.
