Religious commemorations scheduled in Mantua and Valle Camonica
Religious commemorations and beatification ceremonies are scheduled to take place in Italy. In Mantua, the beatification of Mother Maria Ignazia Isacchi, founder of the Congregation of the Ursuline Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Asola, will be held on Saturday, October 10, at the Basilica of Sant’Andrea. The ceremony will be presided over by Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, acting as the papal delegate.
In the Valle Camonica region, specifically in Breno and Cemmo di Capo di Ponte, a series of events will celebrate Blessed Annunciata Cocchetti, founder of the Sisters of Saint Dorothy. Running from October 11 to October 25, the program includes a central exhibition titled ‘Carte di fede, memorie di valle’ featuring restored 19th-century manuscripts, prayer books, and historical documents. The commemoration also features theatrical performances and guided tours of conventual life.
