Religious communities announce August 2026 event schedules

Various religious community events and services are scheduled for August 2026 in Germany and Romania.

In Germany, the Christuskirche and Martin-Luther-Haus will hold joint summer services due to the health situation of Torsten Küster. A combined service and "Welcome Back Party" is set for August 16, featuring a communal buffet. Additionally, a bicycle tour to Deekenhörn is planned for August 12, which includes a picnic and an opportunity to observe a solar eclipse.

In Kronstadt, Romania, the Evangelical Church A. B. has announced several upcoming activities. On August 15, organist Gerald Fink from Germany will perform at the Schwarze Kirche, and Ensemble Tesserae will perform at the Martinsberger Kirche. The Bartholomäus-Fest festival is scheduled for the weekend of August 21–23, with registration required for certain congregation members.
