Religious communities celebrate patron saint festivities

Various religious communities held celebrations for their patron saints. In Spain, the Parroquia Epifanía del Señor y Santo Tomás de Villanueva concluded festivities for Saint Thomas of Villanova with a solemn Eucharist presided over by Auxiliary Bishop Arturo Javier García Pérez. During the service, fifteen young people received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

In Punta Arenas, Chile, the San Francisco de Asís community celebrated the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi on October 4. The Eucharist was led by Bishop Óscar Blanco Martínez. The event included recognition for community members Sigifredo Téllez, Ximena Bahamonde, Mónica Álvarez, and Luis Gajardo for their service and perseverance.
