Religious communities host Bible Month activities in Chile and Argentina

Various religious and community activities are being organized across South America to observe Bible Month throughout September.

In Santiago, Chile, the Archdiocese has launched a program focused on formation, prayer, and community engagement. Under the theme ‘Let us announce the joy of the Gospel in our city’, the initiative includes a Biblical Seminar, a cycle of Lectio Divina, a photography contest, and musical prayer. The program aims to strengthen evangelization and provide spiritual tools for families and parishes through themes such as vocation, synodality, and the role of the city.

In Bariloche, Argentina, the Municipality of San Carlos de Bariloche, via its Undersecretariat of Worship, is hosting a series of open talks. Held on four consecutive Mondays in September at the Municipal Vocational Training Center, these sessions aim to explore the historical and spiritual value of the Bible. The discussions are designed to foster dialogue regarding community coexistence and daily life challenges, inviting residents to engage with the text regardless of their specific beliefs.
