Religious communities in Argentina and Mexico address social and spiritual needs

In Juana Koslay, San Luis, the 33rd ‘Alfa’ Christian Women's Meeting was held, organized by the Christian and Missionary Movement. The event, themed ‘Ricas en bendiciones’, gathered over 400 women from various regions of Argentina. Local government officials, including the Director of Cults Romina Acevedo and Head of Liaison Jaquelina Velázquez, attended the opening.

Separately, the Archdiocese of Xalapa issued a communiqué titled ‘La violencia engendra más violencia’, calling for increased solidarity in response to rising violence, insecurity, and social exclusion in Mexico and Veracruz. The Church urged the community to support vulnerable populations, including those with missing family members, the unemployed, and those excluded from development opportunities, emphasizing that faith should drive action rather than indifference.
