Religious communities in Poland hold spiritual retreats and pilgrimages

Various Catholic religious communities in Poland recently conducted spiritual retreats and pilgrimages. Members of the Jadwiżanki Wawelskie participated in several activities, including apostolic retreats for the Katowice Archdiocese in Sławków focused on community and liturgy. Additionally, a group from the Łódź Archdiocese undertook a pilgrimage to Prague, Czech Republic, to explore church history and liturgy.

Separately, the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites (Kraków Province) held an annual retreat from September 4–6 at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Scapular and St. Raphael Kalinowski in Czerna. Led by Father Michał Wesołowski, the 25 participants from the Katowice Śródmieście and Katowice Szopienice communities studied the spiritual concept of the ‘dark night’ based on the teachings of St. John of the Cross. The event included liturgical services, group discussions, and the welcoming of a new member.
