Religious communities in Romania and Moldova hold liturgical celebrations

Religious communities in Romania and Moldova marked significant spiritual milestones through liturgical services. In Iași, the Orthodox Faculty of Theology held a Holy Liturgy to inaugurate the new academic year. The service, attended by students, faculty, and hierarchs from the Metropolis of Moldavia and Bucovina, included exhortations from Professor Roger Coresciuc, who emphasized the importance of theological students being well-versed in Scripture and the Church Fathers while remaining engaged with the modern world.

In Bălți, the Catholic community celebrated its parish feast day dedicated to the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. Bishop Anton Coșa of Chișinău presided over the solemn Liturgy. The event coincided with the 25th anniversary of the elevation of the Apostolic Administration of Moldova to the rank of a Diocese. During the service, Bishop Coșa provided spiritual guidance based on the three archangels, calling for strength against evil, the role of messengers of salvation, and compassion for those in need.
