Religious consecrations scheduled in Spain and Italy

Several religious consecrations are scheduled to take place within the Catholic Church. In Alcalà de Henares, Spain, Sister Ilaria Marchetti will make her perpetual profession within the Servants of the Mother's Hearth on September 8, 2026. Originally from Brignano, Italy, Marchetti has undergone various stages of religious formation across Italy, Spain, and the Czech Republic.

In Milan, Italy, four women—Vienna, Francesca, Nunzia, and Marlena—will receive solemn consecration in the Ordo Virginum on September 5. The ceremony, presided over by Archbishop Mario Delpini, will be held at the Basilica of San Simpliciano. These women, ranging in age from their 30s to 40s, lead diverse professional lives as accountants, educators, and teachers while committing to this specific form of consecrated life.
