The Orthodox Church commemorates various saints on September 10 and 11, 2026.
On September 11, the calendar honors Saint Theodora of Vasta, a figure from the Byzantine era associated with a unique shrine in Arcadia, Greece, where trees grow from the roof. Also commemorated is Saint Euphrosynos the Cook, a monk known for his humility and service in the monastery kitchen, and Saint Theodora of Alexandria, who sought spiritual restoration through asceticism. Saint Deiniol of Wales, a founder of monasticism in Britain, is also recognized.
On September 10, the Church honors the Apostles Apelles, Luke, and Clement, as well as the martyred sisters Minodora, Mitrodora, and Nymfodora. The latter three, originating from Bithynia, are celebrated for their devotion and martyrdom. Their relics are traditionally associated with a place of worship in Imola, Italy.
