Religious festivities for the Virgin of the Rosary held across multiple regions

Various religious communities across Spain, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, and Peru are holding festivities and observances in honor of the Virgin of the Rosary.

In Spain, La Unión is preparing for ten days of celebrations starting October 2, featuring music, gastronomy, and religious acts. In Colombia, the Diocese of Santa Marta has called for a family prayer vigil for peace and reconciliation from September 26 to October 4 following recent local violence. In Venezuela, the municipality of Santa Rita began its 54th edition of patronal festivities with the traditional descent of the sacred image.

In Brazil, the Cathedral of Paranaguá is celebrating its 448th edition of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, including masses and processions. In Peru, thousands of pilgrims participated in a 30-kilometer desert trek to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Yauca. Additionally, in Argentina, the community of Río Blanco has begun a nine-day novena leading up to the central feast on October 7.
