Religious gatherings held across Poland for Divine Mercy Chaplet

The 18th edition of the international ‘Divine Mercy Chaplet on the Streets’ took place on September 28, with participants gathering in various locations to pray for world peace, the conversion of nations, and mercy for all. The date marks the anniversary of the beatification of Father Michał Sopoćka, the spiritual director of Saint Faustina Kowalska.

In Poland, gatherings were held in several cities. In Tarnów, residents met at the General Nil roundabout to pray for the country, peace, and the health of their families. In Łódź, faithful gathered near the Sanctuary of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, including children from a local kindergarten. Father Krzysztof Ołdakowski, SJ, led the prayers in Łódź, emphasizing that mercy should become a daily way of life, specifically calling for care for the unborn, the disabled, migrants, refugees, and the elderly.
