Religious gatherings held in Căianu Mare and Cacica

In Căianu Mare, the community gathered at the ‘Saint Nicholas’ Orthodox Church for the consecration of a new canopy and an Archieratic Holy Liturgy. The service was officiated by Bishop-Vicar Samuel Bistrițeanul, accompanied by a group of priests and deacons. During the event, parish priest Ioan Fechete was promoted to the rank of sachelar, and several individuals received distinctions for their support of the parish. Additionally, Paul Știr, the mayor of Căianu Mic, was awarded the ‘Saint Priest Martyr Liviu Galaction of Cluj’ Order.

In Cacica, consecrated persons from the Diocese of Iași held their traditional autumn pilgrimage at the Marian Sanctuary. Under the pastoral theme ‘Myrrh pours love into us’, participants gathered for prayer and meditation led by Father Alexandru Olaru OFMConv. The event served as a spiritual reunion for those dedicated to religious life within the diocese.
