Brazil religious and political events report

Various religious and political activities are taking place across Brazil. In Ribeirão Pires, the Festival Vocacional 2026, organized by the Diocese of Santo André, drew a record crowd of 7,000 young people to the Complexo Ayrton Senna, featuring musical performances by the group Colo de Deus.

In Rio de Janeiro, approximately 10,000 altar servers and acolytes gathered at the Metropolitan Cathedral for a celebration led by Cardinal Orani João Tempesta to honor Saint Tarcisius.
