Religious gatherings held in Ełk and Jasna Góra

Various religious gatherings and prayer events are taking place across Poland. In Ełk, the “Zakotwiczeni – 12h dla Pana” event, organized by the Przestrzeń Ducha community and Father Szymon Wysocki, brought together participants for prayer, conferences, and testimonies. During the Eucharist, Bishop Jerzy Mazur encouraged attendees to anchor their lives in Christ and integrate their faith into daily responsibilities such as family, work, and school.

In Jasna Góra, brothers from the Taizé ecumenical community joined young people and religious sisters to pray ahead of the 49th European Youth Meeting. This upcoming event, scheduled for the turn of 2026 and 2027, is expected to gather thousands of young people from various countries in Łódź. During the prayer service, Brother Maciej of Taizé emphasized the importance of trust in God and openness to others, using the Virgin Mary as a model for these virtues.
