Religious gatherings held in León, Mexico

León, Mexico, hosted two distinct religious celebrations on October 25. The 72nd edition of the 'Rosario Viviente' took place at Estadio León, drawing approximately 25,000 attendees. Participants gathered to pray and sing, illuminating the stadium with cell phone lights and candles. The event included a large-scale rosary formation on the field and was attended by Archbishop Jaime Calderón Calderón and several auxiliary bishops.

Separately, the city held the 'Peregrinación Sonidera,' an annual event combining devotion to the Virgin of Guadalupe with cumbia music. Hundreds of participants marched from Parque Explora toward the Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, accompanied by various musical collectives and sound systems. The celebration included a mass at the sanctuary and featured numerous musical groups.
