Religious marches held in Sinop and Campo Grande

Religious processions known as Marcha para Jesus were held in Sinop and Campo Grande as part of their respective municipal anniversary celebrations.

In Sinop, the event took place on Avenida dos Jacarandás, moving from Praça da Bíblia toward the Estádio Municipal Gigante do Norte. Pastor Elvis Sousa, president of the Ordem dos Ministros Evangélicos de Sinop (OMES), described the march as a moment to express gratitude for the city's development and to pray for its future.

In Campo Grande, the 34th edition of the Marcha para Jesus occurred despite rain. Participants gathered at Praça do Rádio before proceeding along Avenida Afonso Pena toward Parque das Nações Indígenas. Mayor Adriane Lopes noted the event's status as a local tradition during the city's 127th-anniversary festivities. The program included various gospel musical performances and aimed to unite different Christian communities in public worship.
