Religious organizations in Taiwan mark major anniversaries

Religious organizations in Taiwan marked significant milestones with anniversary celebrations.

Pastor Wu Qian-zhu announced that the church has reached a consensus for urban renewal with Ta Sugar, the Taipei City Government, and local residents. Construction for a third-generation church is expected to begin as early as 2027, with completion projected in five years.

In Taoyuan, the Taiwan Provincial Taoist Association held a ceremony to commemorate its 75th anniversary. Taoyuan Mayor Chang Shan-cheng attended the event, emphasizing the role of Taoism in promoting social harmony and charitable services. The celebration brought together Taoist leaders and political figures to highlight the importance of preserving religious culture and nurturing young talent within the community.
