Various regions celebrate traditional patron saint festivals
Various communities across Spain, Paraguay, and Venezuela are holding traditional religious and cultural festivals.
In Spain, the Guardia Civil celebrated the Day of the Pilar in Boecillo with a flag-raising ceremony and an exhibition. Alhama de Murcia is hosting its annual fair in honor of the Virgin of the Rosary, featuring music and gastronomy. In Alcázar de San Juan, hundreds participated in a floral offering to the Virgin of the Rosary despite recent storms. Almassora also held celebrations for the Mare de Déu del Roser, including a procession and floral offerings.
In Paraguay, the city of Luque held an allegorical parade in honor of its patron saint, Nuestra Señora del Rosario, involving schools, cultural groups, and local sports clubs.
In Venezuela, Cabimas celebrated its 55th patron saint festivities for the Virgin of the Rosary with a parade featuring 18 educational institutions and marching bands.
