Religious pilgrimage and historical photography exhibitions held in Poland

In Gorzów Wielkopolski, the image of Our Lady of Gietrzwałd arrived at the cathedral on September 3 and 4 as part of a pilgrimage through the Zielona Góra-Gorzów diocese. This initiative serves as preparation for the upcoming 150th anniversary of the Marian apparitions in Gietrzwałd. During the mass, Parish Priest Mariusz Kołodziej emphasized that the pilgrimage represents a spiritual journey intended to lead the faithful closer to Jesus.

In Rabka-Zdrój, the Pod Aniołem Gallery is hosting an exhibition titled ‘Traces of Time’. The display features archival photographs by Jerzy Sierosławski and Czesław Trybowski from the private collection of photographer Piotr Kuczaj. Kuczaj has paired these historical images with contemporary photographs of the same locations, such as local villas, streets, and landmarks, to illustrate the architectural and urban evolution of the town. The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Ordo Cordis Culture Foundation.
