Religious processions held in Ranchi and Amet for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi

Religious processions, known as Juloos-e-Mohammadi, were held in Ranchi and Amet to mark the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.

In Ranchi, the procession was organized under the auspices of the Sunni Barelvi Central Committee. Participants followed a route designated by the district administration, passing through Albert एक्का Chowk and Main Road before reaching Doranda. Despite continuous rainfall, large numbers of people participated in traditional attire. During the event, Maulana Kutubuddin Rizvi led prayers for Hindu-Muslim unity, peace, and communal harmony. Local authorities implemented extensive security measures and traffic adjustments to manage the crowds.

In Amet, a large gathering of the Muslim community participated in a grand procession that began at the Madina Masjid near the railway station. The event featured fireworks and passed through several key areas, including Qureshi Mohalla and Anjuman Madrasa. Participants carried religious flags and chanted slogans to celebrate the birth of the Prophet. The community offered prayers for national peace, brotherhood, and prosperity at the Anjuman Madrasa.
